Bespoke is proud to present the prestigious
5th Annual Supplier Development Seminar + Workshop 2015
scheduled to take place on 18 – 20 August 2015in Johannesburg, South Africa
Transforming Procurement Through Constructive Supplier Development
Supplier Development is the process of working with selected suppliers on a one-on-one basis to improve their performance and capability to meet the short and/or long term needs of the buying organisation. It is an essential component of Supplier Relationship Management and is vital for the transformation of supply chain management.
In the South African context, this includes developing black owned suppliers to ensure the necessary transformation and participation of historically disadvantaged suppliers in the mainstream economy. Supplier Development should be a sustainable and long term cooperative effort between a buying organisation and the supplier, with the objective of upgrading the suppliers’ technical quality, delivery and cost capabilities to foster on-going improvement.
|Day 1 Seminar – Tuesday, 18 August 2015 Transforming Procurement Through Constructive Supplier Development|
