Chairperson
Dr. Khoza, who boasts more than 40 years of executive management experience. He currently serves as Chairman of the Public Investment Commission (PIC) and Assupol Ltd, Dzana Investments (Pty) Ltd and Hlayisani Capital (Pty) Ltd and he is the former Chairman of Globelq, Nedbank and GlaxoSmithKline.
Michael Jordaan
Investment Committee Chair
Michael Jordaan is a venture capitalist and former CEO of First National Bank. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He is also a non-Executive Director on the JSE Limited. Michael actively invests as a partner in AngelHub Ventures, a South African based Venture Capital Fund

Pete Colombo has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles. His practical business experience has been the grounding that has seen turnaround results like Keedo International, that tripled in size in 4 years. Dr. Eugene van Rensburg
Director
Dr. van Rensburg has over 20 years of investment and management experience, with 15+ years in Capital Markets. He currently serves as the Investment Principal and Director of Hlayisani Capital and Hlayisani Fund Managers. Eugene is a PhD (Finance), Executive MBA (Cum Laude), and BCom graduate.

Alicia Pillay
Financial Manager
Alicia Pillay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cost and Management Accounting. She has more than 11 years’ of experience in the field of accounting and over 15 years in internal auditing, working for companies in South Africa and Namibia. As Financial Manager, she is responsible for HR and payroll at LEAP. Alicia is passionate about problem solving and business growth, and she has a keen eye for strategic ways to solve business challenges.

Denvor Phokaners has vast local and international sales and marketing experience, taking products to new markets and finding solutions for clients in over 20 countries around the world. He also boasts more than 12 years’ experience working, coaching and mentoring thousands of SMEs in the SADC region.
